Terry Nefos


Terrence "Terry" Andrew Nefos of Atlanta, formerly of Charlottesville, died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003.

Through his professional career he traveled throughout the world.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Stacie; his daughter, Reanna; her hus­band, Matthew McCall, his pre­cious granddaughter, Caroline; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley A. Nefos of Fredericksburg, formerly of Charlottesville, his two sisters and their families, Rosemary and Paul Bronder, their daugh­ters, Alexis and Ashton of Bowie, Md., Susan and Ward Bromaghim, their daughters, Kristen of Fredericksburg.

The funeral and interment were held at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation in Atlanta.

Terry's vibrant personality and quick smile touched many lives.

“It is in the dying that we are born to eternal life.”

In memory of Terry, the family requests donations be made to the Greek Orthodox Church of the Transformation, 100 Perry Drive, Charlottesville, VA 22902, or to the American Heart Association, 3025 Berkmar Drive, Charlottesville, VA 22901.

I saw Terry not long before he died, and he was still the gentle giant.
