I was very saddened to read of Joanie's passing. We spent many hours together riding the bus through the back country roads to and from school from the Yancey Mills and Greenwood part of our county; so of course we covered a great many subjects as we shared our lives during those times. Though I am sad to hear she's gone, I have very fond memories that make me smile.
