Donnie was full of energy. I regret that you were taken from us so early. I will always remember that ride with Fred from Bridgewater along Route 11 in 1968.

If anyone wore out more automotive steel in the pursuit of the next good time, I never met them. I was fortunate to be along for many rides.

In the fall of 1967 at the Buzzard's Nest, the legend of The Woodpussy was born: one girl upstairs, one girl downstairs, and one waiting outside.

The last time I saw Donnie we were 30, my wife was expecting, and Donnie showed up with a 19 year old girlfriend.

He rolled his car on Dead Man's Curve on Rt. 20 south of Cville the following August just shy of his 31st birthday.

RIP, old buddy, the good times the way we knew them are long since gone anyway.

I know people saw Donnie as Mr Goodtime but during our last year in high school as I went to his house several times to play guitar while he played piano I saw a very caring soft side that music often brings out in people and it did for Donnie.  He seemed to always be in a good mood when I would run into him in the hall at high school and you would always feel better after talking to him.  Donnie was a good man and missed by many.
